Rich history
Villa Ammende was built in the beginning of the 20th century by one of the wealthiest magnate merchants of Pärnu, Hermann Leopold Ammende. The house that was originally built for the joyous wedding celebrations of his beloved daughter Ellen has seen better and worse days, escaped a reconstruction, served as a casino, a library and stood forlornly forgotten for a while.

Fascinating interior
Our visitors will get a feel for the life of a rich merchant family who has lived in the house of their ancestors for a century. The original spatial layout has not been changed and there are sumptuous art nouveau paintings on the walls and ceilings of the halls. Some things go far back in time, some are from our own age. Many possibilities both for vacationers and for event organisers.

Ammende family
Hermann Leopold, the builder of the villa who inhabited it together with his daughter and sons up to 1927. Today, the Ammende family consists of people who work here. This is exactly how we call ourselves, a family.
