MINIATURE STONE II – ’’Under the enchantment of the Moonstone’’

Exhibition „MINIATURE STONE“ will present a unique way into the world of miniature stone sculptures.
MINIATURE STONE II is a solo exhibition of the Russian sculptor called Vitali Gnatjuk, titled „Under the enchantment of the Moonstone“ where it is possible to admire selenite, so called „Moonstone“ miniature sculptures.
This fine art has been presented to us by the craftsmen of the world-renowned jewel company Fabergé, who’s carved out gemstones and semi-precious stones have been fascinated by Russian Tzar’s and Crowned heads all over the World.
The Jewel company craftsmen continued their work in 1920-s in Russia and the Urals. The craftsmen started an art school in Perm Krai for stonemasons-sculptors to pass on their unique skills. Thanks to the countinuation of the traditions, the storylines and motifs of Fabergé will live on in the unique work of the stonemasons. Miniature and decorative nature motifs, human figures and humorous animal figures will echo in each and everyone of our souls
The opening of the exhibition is on the 2nd of February at 3pm
The sculptor will be opening his secret door for you to see the skills and characteristics behind the wonderful world of selenite, also known as the Moonstone. Arist from Pärnu- Mrs. Tiina Ojaste introduces the creative world of miniature sculptures crafted from gemstones by the craftsmen of the world famous FABERGÉ
The exhibition is open every day 12noon – 5pm untill the 24’th of February.
